Sounding Off – Matt Crafton:
What makes Chicagoland Speedway so unique compared to some of the other mile-and-a-half tracks that the Truck Series runs on?
“It’s widened out a lot, and it widened out fairly quick. There are multiple grooves, and the bottom’s fast, without a doubt. When the tires start to fall off, you can run all the way against the fence. This race usually puts on a great show, and hopefully it does the same thing again this year.”

- Chassis Chatter… The No. 88 ThorSport Racing (TSR) team will unload chassis No. 56 for Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Chicagoland 225 at Chicagoland Speedway. This is the same chassis Crafton piloted to a second-place finish earlier this season at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Crafton is currently third in the 2017 driver point standings, and seeded fourth in the Playoffs.
- Take Me Back – Chicago, 2016… Making his eighth start at Chicagoland Speedway, Crafton started 13th, ran as high as third, and settled for a 27th-place finish, due to damage suffered in a late-race accident on lap 113 of 150.
