Ty Majeski Wins Clean Harbors 250 at Richmond Raceway
RICHMOND, Va. – Ty Majeski claimed victory in the No. 98 Soda Sense Ford F-150 at the Clean Harbors 250 at Richmond Raceway, securing his second straight win in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Majeski took the lead during a restart with eight laps to go and held off 2nd place to cross the finish line .936 seconds ahead.
This win was particularly significant for Majeski. Despite a pit road penalty early in the race, Majeski recovered and finished strong.
“This feels good; we’ve had great ThorSport trucks here at Richmond the last two years but found different ways to lose them. Almost did that again tonight. We need to clean that stuff up,” said Majeski.
With this victory, Majeski now has five career wins in the series and enters the NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs on a high note after consecutive wins at Indianapolis and Richmond.
Teammate Ben Rhodes also secured a spot in the Playoffs based on points, making ThorSport Racing a strong contender in the postseason.
