SANDUSKY, OHIO – ThorSport Racing will head to the Daytona Road Course for a historic weekend. Here is everything you need to know to tune in to Sunday’s race.
WHAT TIME IS PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING?
Since NASCAR is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the teams and personnel at the track, there will be no practice and no qualifying. Starting lineup is based on a new performance-based metrics. The metrics will be weighted and averaged to establish the starting order: 50% starting position from previous race, 35% on points position and 15% on fastest race lap run at the previous race.
WHAT TIME IS THE RACE?
The race is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 16 and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
