Chatting with Myatt Snider…

“With the strong runs our No. 13 Ford F-150 team has been putting together recently, I have total confidence going into the race this week in Texas. We’ve put together great runs at short tracks, intermediates and superspeedways, and I feel like we’re hitting our stride as a team. We have no intentions of backing down with the Rookie of the Year battle coming to a close. As a driver, I’ve had good races at Texas. It was my first intermediate race in a truck, and I lead most of Stage 2 in last year’s race. We’ll be looking to mirror that performance and then some with our No. 13 Century Container Ford F-150 this weekend.”

News and Notes

Finding the Groove… Now leading the Sunoco Racing Rookie of the Year (ROTY) point standings by 29 over Kyle Busch Motorsport’s Todd Gilliland, Snider came off a strong run at Talladega Superspeedway (second, a NCWTS career-best) to finish his second consecutive top-five (third), and third consecutive top-10, at Martinsville Speedway this past week. With momentum heading into Texas Motor Speedway, Snider looks to continue building on his 2018 ROTY run, accomplishing three top-fives, two top-10s and 20 laps led this season.
