Chatting with Myatt Snider…
“Going back to Talladega will be quite a lucrative opportunity for me as a driver. I’ve had some of my best runs at restrictor plate tracks, including a third-place finish at Talladega last year. This weekend, we’re taking our truck that ran well for most of the night at Daytona earlier this season. It feels like we’ve got all the right pieces in place for a good run. Our goal is to keep our momentum as leaders in the Rookie of the Year standings, and work to get our first win this weekend in the RIDE TV / Louisiana Hot Sauce Ford F-150.”

News and Notes
Talladega Return… Despite running for Rookie of the Year honors this season, Snider returns to Talladega for a second time in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career. Finishing a strong third in 2017’s event for Kyle Busch Motorsports, Snider started last year’s race ninth. Finishing Stage 1 fifth, Snider then went on to lead Lap 47 and finish Stage 2 third before taking the checkered flag. Snider feels the experience, along with seat time he’s had at ThorSport Racing this year at restrictor plate tracks, sets him up for a strong finish this weekend.
For the Clock… Snider recently competed in the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway during his break between Las Vegas and Talladega, a prestigious NASCAR Late Model Stock car race where the famed grandfather clock is awarded to the victor. Qualifying 10th for the event in his Louisiana Hot Sauce Ford Fusion, Snider ultimately had to settle for an early end after a motor issue on a late-race restart ended his race.
