- This Week’s No. 13 Century Container Ford F-150… The No. 13 ThorSport Racing team will unload chassis No. 41 for Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Corrigan Oil 200 at Michigan International Speedway. The chassis makes its ninth career start this weekend, and its second appearance at the two-mile, D-shaped oval near Brooklyn, Michigan. Debuting at Kansas Speedway as the No. 13 in 2015, the chassis started sixth and finished 10th at Michigan that season. Since then, it has competed as both the No. 13 (2015, 2017 and 2018 seasons) and the No. 41 (2016 season) trucks in the ThorSport Racing stable. In all, the chassis has one top-five finish (Kansas – 2015), four top-10 finishes (Kansas, Texas, Michigan, Homestead-Miami – 2015), and has led 12 laps in its four-year career.
- Tackling the “Wolverine State”… Making his first NCWTS start at Michigan this weekend, Sunoco Racing Rookie of the Year contender, Myatt Snider, has competed at the track previously. Starting from pole position in 2016’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event, Snider led 38 strong laps before getting caught up in a wreck, leaving him to finish 23rd. With two races remaining before the NCWTS Playoffs begin, Snider is hoping for redemption and a win to secure his spot in the series playoffs.
- Race Recap: Pocono… Starting eighth at Pocono Raceway this past weekend, Snider was ready to tackle the “Tricky Triangle” in his first NCWTS start at the track. During the first stage, the No. 13 Ford F-150 team discovered that the truck was tighter than in practice, catching them off-guard but working hard to adjust the truck as best as they could. Stage 2 saw Snider advance to third and lead a lap, before settling for a 12th-place finish after the final stage.
- Zipping into Bristol… Partnering with Bristol Motor Speedway, Snider, along with teammate Ben Rhodes, headed south to Chattanooga, Tennessee, Monday, July 30, to preview the upcoming Thursday, Aug. 16, race. While there, Snider and Rhodes assisted in honoring Capt. Steve Everett, a firefighter from Chattanooga Fire Department Station No. 3, who saved a woman’s life from her burning home while off-duty. Racing to try on their protective equipment, the drivers also experienced shooting water out of the firehose before having lunch with the firefighters. After the visit, Snider and Rhodes then went to discover Ruby Falls and their zipline course. Racing up the rock-climbing walls and ziplining over tree-tops, Rhodes and Snider both had the chance to hide tickets for all four races at Bristol around the “Castle,” where one can see three different states from the top tower.

“I am putting a little added pressure on myself this weekend for Michigan with the Playoffs just around the corner. We’re taking one of our best trucks to Michigan though, and the fact I had a pole in my first ARCA start there is icing on the cake. I am going into this weekend with the mindset we need to win, and I feel confident. This race is a drafting race, so it’s a good equalizer. We have a good team here at ThorSport Racing, and my team always brings a strong Century Container Ford F-150. I’m excited for the potential of getting a win in Ford’s backyard this weekend.”
