Chatting with Myatt Snider…

“I have all the confidence in the world this weekend. Our No. 13 Ford F-150 team had a phenomenal run last time we made an appearance at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and we’re taking back the same chassis we had last time. I know the Century Container Ford F-150 will have good race speed this weekend. Overall, with all I’ve learned this season, and how much we’ve grown as a team, I feel like we can go out and be a team that will contend for a win Friday night. I’m ready to get out on track and show what this team is made of.”

News and Notes

Rookie Run… Making his third start at Las Vegas this weekend, and the 18th of his 2018 Sunoco Racing Rookie of the Year (ROTY) run, Snider enters the event still first in ROTY driver standings, but only by one point. Racing as high as first in spring’s 2018 Las Vegas event before finishing 15th, Snider and the team have accumulated one top-five and five top-10 finishes so far this season. His highest finish of the season came at Gateway Motorsports Park near St. Louis, a fourth-place run, in addition to finishing sixth at Martinsville Speedway and seventh at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
