Chatting with Grant Enfinger…
“I’m really excited about Sgetting to Talladega this week – it’s my home track on the schedule, one I look forward to, and am also excited to have Champion Power Equipment on board with us this week. It’s always a crazy race, but since we’re locked into the next round, I feel like that gives us an advantage going into the weekend. Our goal is to win and help our teammates. This is one we don’t have to worry about stage points, only the Playoff points matter.”

News and Notes
Home Track Hero… A native of Fairhope, Alabama, Enfinger looks to add a second win at his home track, and his third career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory, to his resume in his own backyard. Coming off a strong win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway recently, Enfinger looks to add to the momentum he carries, along with his experience at the 2.66-mile superspeedway, to solidly finish this weekend’s race. In 10 starts Enfinger has at the track in both the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and NCWTS, he’s roped in one win (2016, NCWTS), one pole (2014, ARCA), three top-five and five top-10 finishes, leading 151 laps in both series.
Roll Tide… Not only an Alabama-native, it’s no secret Enfinger is an avid Crimson Tide fan. Ahead of this weekend’s Fr8Auctions 250, Enfinger will get a behind-the-scenes tour of Bryant-Denny Stadium at the University of Alabama Thursday morning. A winner at Talladega in 2016, Enfinger attended the Championship game in Tuscaloosa earlier this year.
Racing with Heavy Hearts… Our thoughts and prayers are with Tim McLaughlin this weekend, Vice President of Sales – National Accounts at Champion Power Equipment, after losing his mother Glenda this past week. Featured above the passenger door of Enfinger’s No. 98 Champion Power Equipment / CURB Records Ford F-150, Glenda will be riding with the team in Saturday’s Fr8Auctions 250.
