DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series unloaded Thursday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway for the official start of the 2021 season.
The four ThorSport trucks took to the 2.5-mile tri-oval this afternoon for the only practice session of the weekend ahead of Friday night’s season-opener.
Veteran Johnny Sauter put his No. 13 Vivitar / Sakar Toyota Tundra P. 3 on the leaderboard with a 189.565 lap.
The three-time series champion, Matt Crafton put up a 189.470 mph lap putting his No. 88 Menards / Mold Armor Tundra P. 6.
Grant Enfinger’s No. 98 Champion Power Equipment / Curb Tundra placed P. 8 when he knocked down a 189.438 mph lap.
The Bombardier / Learjet 75 Toyota Tundra of Ben Rhodes finished practice P. 10 following a 188.881 mph lap.
