Following a notable run in last week’s Mudsummer Classic at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, which included a season-best second-place start and a track-best seventh-place finish, Jeb Burton and the No. 13 Estes team look forward to building on their momentum heading into Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. The second-generation driver started third in his “Tricky Triangle” debut in 2013 and finished 12th.

Burton compares the 2.5-mile Long Pond, Pa. track to Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, due to the recent repave, tire wear, drafting and speed, which is fortunate for the ThorSport Racing team because it was the site of Burton’s season-best sixth-place finish. As the halfway mark in the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season approaches, the Estes Express driver would like to capitalize on another solid finish and get back inside the top-10 in points.

Sounding Off – Jeb Burton:
“We had a really good run at Kansas earlier this year, so I’m really looking forward to Pocono this weekend and Michigan in a couple weeks. We gained 13 points on tenth-place in points last week after a top-10 run at Eldora, so we just need to keep the strong runs coming for this 13 team. We didn’t start the season out where we needed to be, but there is still plenty of time to make up some ground.”
