“Our Carolina Nut Co. Ford F-150 had really good speed all day – we just didn’t have the chance to showcase it. It’s unfortunate that we were caught up in the one of the first cautions of the day. Once that happened, we went a lap down, but my ThorSport team did an amazing job getting our Ford F-150 back on track and running – good and fast, it was a really good truck. But, unfortunately, we just couldn’t get that lap back. Being one lap down is what kept us out of the Playoffs. We had the speed at the end, we had everything we needed, it just didn’t work out, we were a lap down – it’s Talladega. Luck has to be on your side. It’s hard not to look back at the times throughout the season where mistakes were made or things that happened you wish you could change. We’re going to move forward and win all the races we can the rest of the season.”
